Carbon fibre is a lightweight, strong, corrosive resistant material that is slowly but surely becoming the popular choice of material for use in construction to reinforce structures. Here’s why the use of carbon fibre for reinforcement during a construction project creates a better structure:

Strength

Carbon fibre is a very strong material, which is why it is great for the reinforcement of structures. These fibres may be thin, but they are almost five times as strong as steel. Carbon fibre is resistant to corrosion, making it the perfect material for the reinforcement of exterior structures such as bridges. The material is durable and reliable as it will not corrode and become weak overtime.
